Attendees gain insights and practice how to coach programs, launch Agile Release Trains, build a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with DevOps culture, and empower a Lean Portfolio.

The first two days of the course — Leading SAFe® — provide the basis to teach SAFe to leaders. The final two days focus exclusively on what it takes to successfully implement SAFe in the enterprise. Certifying as a SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC), and becoming a change agent, enables attendees to coach and guide the enterprise to succeed in a disruptive marketplace and empower them to implement a Lean-Agile SAFe transformation.

All stakeholders in a Lean-Agile transformation are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification exam and practice as a SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC):


  • More than 5 years of experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
  • More than 3 years of experience in Agile
  • One or more relevant Agile certifications

As a SAFe ® 5 Program Consultant (SPC), you can continue the learning journey by achieving validation to license and teach SAFe courses.

Class registration includes:

  • Attendee workbook
  • Preparation and eligibility to take the SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC) exam
  • One-year membership to the SAFe Community Platform
  • Course certificate of completion

Attendees must attend all four days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.

Attendees may be eligible to apply for 30 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications.
Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under Category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.

In order to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 15 or more days prior to class, 100% refund of tuition.
  • 8-15 days prior to class, no refund, but may reschedule another class within one year of the cancellation date.
  • 7 days or less from the course start date, neither refund of tuition nor any rescheduling allowed. No changes are allowed to make.
  • In the event any cancellation occurred due to low enrollment or unforeseen natural events, we will issue a 100% refund.
  • What tools do we utilize during the remote sessions?
    We utilize a combination of Zoom and Miro Board. 
  • Does the enrollment fee include the exam fee?
    The enrollment fee includes the first exam attempt.
  • When can I take the exam?
    You can take the exam within 30 days from the course completion date.
  • When will we restart our On-site sessions?
    Currently, because of the COVID-19 situation all our classes are held online. We will start on-site sessions on August 2nd.

  • Are our instructors outsourced from different countries?
    No! All of our instructors are in North America.
  • What type of credit card do we accept?

  • When do we close the enrollment ?
    1 hour before the starting time of the class.
  • Do I have to be in the same city to take a remote class?
    No! Anyone is welcome to enroll in our live remote training sessions.
  • Why is the timezone in CST?

  • Can I retake the class if I joined in a remote session?
    Attendees that have enrolled in our remote training sessions are welcome to retake the class on-site. However, the class will run in limited cities.
  • Where can I take the exam?

    As an expert in business and personal performance agility, Josh is dedicated to seeing his high-performing clients reach levels of success they never thought possible. He regularly coaches and trains clients at all levels from executives to agile teams in some of the largest and most complex business enterprises in the world, as well as smaller, fast-paced and challenging start-up environments.

    As an expert trainer and consultant he holds the coveted SAFe SPCT certification and has contributed to both SAFe curriculum and exam development. He also holds the RTE, SDP, ICP-ACC, CSP-SM, CSP-PO, and TBR-CT certifications and is an Agile Mentor Coach who regularly mentors and trains high-performing coaches and leaders around the globe.

    Josh has trained and certified several thousand SAFe students including members of the Scaled Agile team and maintains a high customer feedback score of 4.68+ out of 5. He trains from experience having been a dev team member, product owner, scrum master, agile coach, release train engineer, lean agile leader and lean agile executive over the past 17 years in the agile industry, and 24 years in IT. He taught one of the largest SAFe for teams classes with over 300 students in attendance and has extensive experience facilitating global in-person and remote PI events and trainings.

    Josh is known as "the coaches' coach" and he regularly mentors and trains both new and experienced coaches at all levels, and across various industries on becoming high-performing Agile Coaches.
